This mural embodies the diverse cultures represented by the citizens of Vernon. From left to right the cultures represented are Chinese, Eastern European, Scandinavian, English, Aboriginal, East Indian, Japanese and Belgian. On the far right is Pierre Elliot Trudeau who initiated many multiculturalism policies as Prime Minister of Canada and who died during the painting of this mural.
